PROMISE NWADIGOS IN A BREAKFAST ROUNDTABLE TELLS NIGERIAN YOUNG LEADERS TO CREATE PLATFORMS FOR ICPD30 PROGRAM OF ACTIONS AWARENESS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES

The International Youth Parliament president His Excellency, Hon (Engr) Promise Anurika Nwadigos @25 Nigerian Democracy day celebration in his country demand the establishment of comprehensive sexuality education Innovation Hubs for quality education, Greater Investment in Digital Entrepreneurship, and the Collective Enhancement of Regional ICPD30 through Technology.

The IYP Boss Nwadigos, making reference to IPCI-ICPD30 -OSLO -2024 outcome to young stakeholders in Abuja, at the roundabout breakfast discussion witness the presence of Young Progressives Party National Chairman Bishop Amakiri duly represented by the party Executive, Dr Daysman Oyakhilome – president Loveworld global fellowship, Amb. Solomon Adodo- Convener Rising Up For A United Nigeria, Comrade Osisiogu Osikenyi- President All African Students Union, Amb. Dr. Emmanuel Chuks Ozegbe – Founder Global youth skills acquisition and Poverty Eradication and many others, saying is time for honest transformation of young people that will impact the Nigerian economy and generate wealth to the society, as well as the initiation of grassroots actions to enhance peace and security through digital technology.

Nwadigos also reason that the inclusion of sexuality education training in new technologies in schools’ curricular from an early age, through viable partnership with education ministries, and Ngo’s would prepare and equip the Nigerian youth to take up the challenges about their sexual and reproductive health seamlessly.

Dr Daysman, while appreciating the IYP President for such an awareness roundtable discussion also thanked the UNFPA for their initiatives and added that for a new generation vision for the future to be achieved we must all come together as young leaders and expedite action platforms for solutions- focused discussions with all sector on the continuing implementation of ICPD30 programme of actions.

Bishop Amakiri representative recognising the importance of ICPD30 and its positive impact on the youth; said Policy makers and young leaders must positioned themselves to take utmost advantage of ICPD30 and wisely use the social media and social networks to create solutions while leverage such platforms for the promotion of advocacy campaigns to reach a wider range of young parliamentarians in the party.

Nwadigos, Pledging willingness to lend a helping hand in getting to the grassroot and mentoring models to inspire and equip young Nigerians for ICPD30 program of actions well as provide start-ups funding for youth self-realisation that will enable them have a space in decision making process participation.
